​I have over years of coaching experience with both competitive and recreational figure skaters.  As a competitive figure skater I was a 2-Time International Champion, the 1997 US National Junior Ladies Bronze Medalist, 1997-1998 International Junior Grand Prix Finals Competitor, a 4-Time US National Competitor, an Eastern Sectionals Champion at both the Junior and Senior levels, and a New England Regional Champion at the Intermediate, Junior, and Senior levels.  As a member of the US Figure Skating Team for 4 years, I had the amazing privilege of representing Team USA at international competitions held in interesting countries around the world at a young age.

As a skater, I trained under World and Olympic Hall of Fame Coaches Evy and Mary Scotvold who are most celebrated for coaching Nancy Kerrigan and Paul Wylie to Olympic medals. I started my coaching career in the fortunate position of serving as the Scotvold’s Assistant Coach for 4 years, coaching their competitive and elite level skating students. I have gone on to coach hundreds of skaters over the years from skaters taking their first skating lesson through regional, sectional, national, and international competitors.   

Off the ice, I have almost 2 decades of experience in business (corporate development, investment banking, & management consulting).  I also previously founded and served as CEO of an educational counseling company and hold a Certificate in College Advising from Columbia University's Teacher's College.

I graduated from Harvard University in 2003 with a BA in Government.   While at Harvard I was a founding officer of the Harvard University Figure Skating Club, was a member of Harvard’s JV Women’s Ice Hockey Team, and House Committee Co-Chair of Dunster House. 

I have held numerous US Figure Skating positions over the years including serving as a member of the Board of Directors as well as serving on the USFS Strategic Planning, Finance, Marketing, Program Development, Nominating, Sports Science, Athlete's Advisory, Singles, Coaches, High School Programs, Judges, and Sanctions & Eligibility Committees.

I am currently a member of The Elite Edge Skating Club’s coaching staff and am the Team Coordinator for EESC's Elevate & Rise Training Teams.  I am a USFS Credentialed Coach and am a PSA Certified Rated Professional in Free Skating and Moves in the Field.  I previously was a staff coach at The Skating Club of Boston for a decade and represented the Yarmouth Ice Club as a skater. I also currently serve as the Head Coach of the Harvard University Figure Skating Club.

I live in South Boston with my husband, Gary, and our cat, Cupcake, and have a 22 year-old stepson who is currently pursuing his JD at Suffolk Law School.
